Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ARKM Tech, LLC (“ARKM Tech,” “we,” “us”), the company that operates the Snipsy software platform (“Snipsy,” the “Service”), collects, uses, and protects information when you create an account, use the Service, or visit snipsy.app.
If you're a pet owner who received a text or booking link from a groomer who uses Snipsy:
That groomer is our customer, not you — they decide what information about you to collect and how to use it, and we process it on their instructions. For questions about your own information, contact your groomer directly. The section “Our role for information about your clients” below explains this relationship in more detail.

Our role for information about your clients
Snipsy account holders (groomers and grooming businesses, “Tenants”) use the Service to store information about their own clients and pets — names, contact details, appointment history, and similar records (“Client Information”). For Client Information, the Tenant decides what to collect and why, and Snipsy acts on the Tenant's instructions to store, process, and transmit it (for example, sending a reminder text the Tenant chose to send). We do not use Client Information for our own marketing, and we do not sell it. If you are a Tenant, you are responsible for your own compliance with privacy, consent, and messaging laws that apply to how you collect and use your clients' information — see our Terms of Service for more.
Information we collect
When you sign up for or use Snipsy, we may collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, business name, address, and phone number.
- Client Information you enter into Snipsy — your clients' names, contact details, pets, appointments, services, prices, and notes, as described above. This belongs to you; we hold it on your behalf so the Service can function.
- Payment information — for your own Snipsy subscription, and for payments you collect from your clients through the Service, handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications — emails and text messages you exchange with us, including support conversations.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs collected automatically when you use the Service.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Send transactional account messages (account verification, payment and subscription notifications, security alerts, and support replies) by email and, where you have consented, by SMS;
- Send, on a Tenant's instructions, appointment and business messages to that Tenant's own clients;
- Provide customer support and respond to requests you initiate;
- Process payments through Stripe;
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse;
- Comply with legal obligations.
SMS / text messaging
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS, Snipsy may send you account-related text messages (such as verification codes, payment notifications, and support replies). If you are a Tenant's client, your groomer's use of Snipsy may result in appointment reminders or similar texts sent to you on their behalf; your groomer is responsible for that consent relationship. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on account activity. You can opt out of any Snipsy messaging program at any time by replying STOP to the message. No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support Snipsy's operations (described below) excludes any use for their own marketing.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers (subprocessors) we rely on to operate Snipsy, acting on our instructions and contractually limited in how they may use the data:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Vercel — application hosting, and aggregate, cookieless analytics on our own marketing and sign-up pages (page counts and referrers only; we do not run analytics on a Tenant's booking pages or on their clients)
- Twilio — SMS delivery
- Stripe — payment processing, both for Snipsy subscriptions and for payments a Tenant collects from their own clients
- Resend — transactional and account email delivery
- Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ARKM Tech, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the acquirer agreeing to honor this Privacy Policy for information collected under it.
Data retention
We retain account and Client Information for as long as the relevant account is active and for a reasonable period afterward (currently up to 30 days after account closure) to allow data export, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. A Tenant can request deletion of their account and its data at any time by emailing info@arkmtech.com, subject to records we are required by law to keep.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — Tenants can view and edit most account and Client Information directly inside Snipsy.
- SMS opt-out — reply STOP to any Snipsy text message, or contact us.
- Account deletion — email info@arkmtech.com and we will delete the account and associated data, subject to records we are required by law to keep.
- State privacy rights — depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, request correction or deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We extend these choices to anyone who contacts us at info@arkmtech.com, regardless of your state of residence. If you are a pet owner asking about information a groomer entered about you, we may direct your request to that groomer, since they control what information is collected and why.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls that keep each Tenant's data isolated from other Tenants. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify affected account holders as required by applicable law.
Children
Snipsy account holders must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Client Information entered by a Tenant may occasionally reference a pet owner's household in general terms, but Snipsy does not knowingly collect information from or about children through its own registration or use of the Service.
Where we operate
Snipsy is designed for businesses operating in the United States, and our infrastructure and subprocessors are US-based. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email or by a notice within the Service at least 15 days before they take effect. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
